Day 6:

I felt a finger lightly poke me. As I opened my eyes and Harlie's face fitered into conciousness. She smiled at me angelically, "Hey Hil, are you okay? 'Said alot while you were asleep. Wanna talk about it?" I frowned and looked over at Evelyn whose brown curly hair laid in front of her pale face. She reminded me of Allyssa, one of my best friends. My thoughts were disterbed by Harlie's impatient sigh. I nodded, "I don't know. I'm just torn. Did you have a boyfriend when they took you? How did they take you?" I was rambling, and I knew it. But it was completely incontrolable. Harlie laughed, "Slow down. Yeah, I did have a boyfriend, by the way; he is currently married and has a daughter named Haylie. I was taken on the way home from the store. I wanted along a alley, next thing I knew,I was here." I looked at her. She had a boyfriend who's married? "How long have you been here?" She glared at the floor and thought about it long and hard. She pursed her lips before continuing, "I've been here... about five years. His daughter would be two." A lump formed in my throat. Five years? Five. God, I knew I'd be here forever. "And Dimitri doesn't trust you'll stay with him if you were to leave. Would you?" This question baffled her slightly. She pondered her thoughts before speaking, "Dimitri has suggested leaving with me. But I can't leave Evelyn behind; she's been here for three years. I don't know about leaving Dimitri. Believe it or not, he's kind of a good guy. He really loves me." I smiled at her. At least she found someone to love in this shack, or whatever it was. I eyed Evelyn curiously, "Harlie? Who exactly is Evelyn?" Harlie's eyes followed mine and watched Evelyn breathe in and out slowly. "She's really nice, very weird, and shy. Mason's main squeeze and a definate beauty. She will eventually talk to you. Even though you've been here for six days, she still needs more time."
